Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor developed and published by Adobe Systems for Windows and OS X.

Photoshop was created in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll. Since then, it has become the de facto industry standard in raster graphics editing, such that the word "photoshop" has become a verb as in "to Photoshop an image," "photo shopping" and "photoshop contest", though Adobe discourages such use. It can edit and compose raster images in multiple layers and supports masksalpha compositing and several color models including RGBCMYKLab color spacespot color andduotone. Photoshop has vast support for graphic file formats but also uses its own PSD and PSB file formats which support all the aforementioned features. In addition to raster graphics, it has limited abilities to edit or render text, vector graphics (especially through clipping path), 3D graphics and video. Photoshop's featureset can be expanded by Photoshop plug-ins, programs developed and distributed independently of Photoshop that can run inside it and offer new or enhanced features.
Photoshop's naming scheme was initially based on version numbers. However, in October 2002, following the introduction of Creative Suite branding, each new version of Photoshop was designated with "CS" plus a number; e.g., the eighth major version of Photoshop was Photoshop CS and the ninth major version was Photoshop CS2. Photoshop CS3 through CS6 were also distributed in two different editions: Standard and Extended. In June 2013, with the introduction ofCreative Cloud branding, Photoshop's licensing scheme was changed to that of software as a service and the "CS" suffixes were replaced with "CC". Historically, Photoshop was bundled with additional software such as Adobe ImageReadyAdobe FireworksAdobe BridgeAdobe Device Central and Adobe Camera RAW.
Alongside Photoshop, Adobe also develops and publishes Photoshop ElementsPhotoshop LightroomPhotoshop Express and Photoshop Touch. Collectively, they are branded as "The Adobe Photoshop Family". It is currently a licensed software.

Top 5 Smartphones of the year

The best smartphone in the world - it's a work of art

1. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
OS: Android 6 | Screen size: 5.5-inch | Resolution: 1440 x 2560 | RAM: 4GB |Storage:32GB | Battery: 3600mAh | Rear camera: 12MP | Front camera: 5MP
Last year's Galaxy S6 Edge was a good phone, but not brilliant. It was the same as the Samsung Galaxy S6, but had a curved screen - and that was it. It was the same size, power and camera, and that wasn't enough.Fast forward to today and the S7 Edge takes all the great looks of the S6 Edge, makes the phone even curvier and combines it with the superb power and feature set of the S7.
The camera is just brilliant, the mix of metal and glass is really nice to hold, and even the Touchwiz overlay is turning into something more usable than before. Battery life improvements are hugely welcomed, and while the price is higher, it's now affixed to a phone that offers simply the best in nearly every department, so many will be happy with the outlay.

2. Samsung Galaxy S7
OS: Android 6 | Screen size: 5.1-inch | Resolution: 1440 x 2560 | RAM: 4GB |Storage:32GB | Battery: 3000mAh | Rear camera: 12MP | Front camera: 5MP
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is a phone that initially looks just like the S6 from last year - but pick it up and you'll see there's a world of difference.Firstly, the rear of the phone feels much nicer thanks to a curved back (through a process called 3D Thermo Forming), it's now water resistant and a microSD slot is a welcome feature to return, after it was dropped last year.
The camera is just brilliant - it's lower in megapixels but improved in quality. You'll get brilliant pictures time and again, and you'll want to keep trying it in different scenarios. It's a great phone that you'll be happy to pull out of your pocket.

3. HTC 10

OS: Android 6 | Screen size: 5.2-inch | Resolution: 1440 x 2560 | RAM: 4GB |Storage:32GB | Battery: 3000mAh | Rear camera: 12MP | Front camera: 5MP
After the success of the HTC One M8, the world wondered if time was up for HTC after it didn't really ignite the smartphone game with the One M9.Well, that's not the case as the brand went away, made a beautiful phone that's 'sculpted by light', added in a genuinely impressive camera and improved the battery life.
But that's not the best bit - that comes when you plug headphones into this thing. It's sensational - can this thing pump beautiful, Hi-Res Audio into your ears or what?
For that reason alone it's worth a place in the top ten, and the myriad other improvements impress equally.

4. Sony Xperia Z5

OS: Android 6 | Screen size: 5.2-inch | Resolution: 1920 x 1080 | RAM: 3GB |Storage: 32GB |Battery: 2,900mAh | Rear camera: 23MP | Front camera:5.1MP
The Sony Xperia Z5 is the Japanese brand's 'mainstream' phone, and one that we're happy to talk about - it's got a number of nice features that make it worth checking out.
It's a big upgrade on the earlier phones, and the speedy autofocus - much faster than anything else on test - has to be tried to be believed. You can whirl around and still get a sharp snap, and in bright light the Z5 is probably the best camera around.
It's added in a pleasing fingerprint sensor on the side, and has the latest Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM. The waterproofing is amazing when you see how many open ports there are, but Sony has managed it. You can drop this in the toilet without fear, basically.
The large 5.2-inch screen looks great thanks to Bravia technology - it's the best phone Sony has ever made, and we especially like the frosted rear glass too. Recent price drops have made it even more palatable, so it's still sitting pretty near the top of our rankings.

5. LG G5

OS: Android 6 | Screen size: 5.3-inch | Resolution: 2560 x 1440 | RAM: 4GB |Storage: 32GB | Battery: removable 2800mAh | Rear camera: 16MP | Front camera: 8MP
LG's back, and with an innovative bang. This is a phone that's designed to fall apart - well, come apart at least. You see, on top of the clever dual camera there's a clip at the bottom that lets you pull the battery out. That's good in itself - too many phones lack a removable power pack - but you can attach new modules to improve the audio, battery life or camera grippability with more to come.
Another 'alternative' phone from LG, and we're big fans

Fifa vs Pes 2016

Which football game tops the league this year?

PES 2016 boasts a passing game that's as smooth as a Galaxy chocolate bar, sporting a brand of give-and-go football that's possible thanks to intelligent off-the-ball runs from your teammates. And while the action is weighted slightly in favour of the attackers, improvements to the defensive game make it easier than ever to put a foot in without getting booked.
A bit like Manchester United under Louis Van Gaal, FIFA 16 is a much slower and more deliberate game of football, where teams really have to work hard to carve open defences by patiently passing the ball around midfield. It makes those sublime team goals more satisfying, but also harder to come by.The FIFA series has used its Abramovich-esque financial clout to bag a ton of official teams, leagues, players, kits and stadiums. It features authentic crowd chants and songs, realistic commentary, and lots of little touches like goalline technology and vanishing spray for free kicks. Each match kind of feels like a Sky Sports presentation.
PES 2016 has the Champions League and Euro 2016 licenses, as well as a smattering of official clubs and leagues, including Manchester United from our very own Premiership. Unfortunately, team lineups are outdated, kits are all wrong, the commentary is robotic and who's ever heard of the Konami Stadium?
PES 2016 does, however, claw back some kudos thanks to its Player ID system, with more superstars running, dribbling and shooting like their real-world counterparts. It's a game of two halves for the PES 2016 visuals, which look ropey up close - hair and grass textures are particularly terrible - but are much more impressive when the action is go and games are in full swing. Funnily enough, the Player ID system actually makes it easier to identify players from afar than when they're in the tunnel.
From the muddy shirts and grass stains to every expensive strand of hair on Wayne Rooney's head, you really can't fault the visuals in FIFA 16, which are much more consistent throughout.EA Sports has also added pre-season tournaments to career mode - giving teams a chance to earn more dosh - as well as Draft mode to FIFA Ultimate Team, which temporarily lets users know what it's like to manage a team of world-class players - without shelling out big bucks on gold packs.
PES 2016 takes the tinkerman approach, making lots of little tweaks and changes all over the park, from dynamic weather to an improved collision system. The result is a completely transformed experience both on and off the field. With its huge tactical depth, pages of player stats, exciting transfer system and innovative Player Role feature - where players earn boosts and bonuses for signing star players and promoting local lads - Master League is an immensely engaging career mode that hearkens back to the glory days of Pro Evolution Soccer.
Online there's myClub, where the aim is to build the best possible team by shaping team spirit and hiring the best agents to sign those star players. It's a lot like FIFA Ultimate Team, only not quite as good.
The FIFA career mode is no slouch, and the addition of pre-season tournaments and manual player training adds some depth, but it's largely the same solo mode you've been playing for the past few years.
Card-based, team-building game mode FIFA Ultimate Team also feels very samey - although arguably it didn't need much tweaking to begin with - but the addition of Drafts gives would-be managers the chance to earn big rewards while fielding a team of the best players. The only drawback is that it costs a lot to enter.
